With a legal career spanning over three decades, Jimmy has been a trusted advocate for his clients in Ocala, Florida, since 1987. Specializing in civil trial law, including personal injury and wrongful death cases, Jimmy’s dedication to justice is reflected in his AV® Rating by Martindale-Hubbell®, a testament to his ethical standards and professional excellence.
Born and raised in Ocala, Jimmy’s roots in the community run deep. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1984, he graduated in the top 1% of his class from the University of Florida College of Law in 1987, receiving high honors. During his time in law school, Jimmy was a member of the prestigious Law Review and Order of the Coif, underscoring his academic brilliance. His commitment to excellence has defined his career and continues to drive his work for his clients.
Jimmy and his wife, Beth, have been married for 34 years and share a wonderful family with their four daughters—Mary Grace Williams (married to Bo Williams), Emily, Caroline, and Anna Catherine—and two grandchildren, Bowen and Collins. The Collins family is deeply involved in their local church, Grace Episcopal, where Jimmy has served as both Vestry member and Senior Warden.
Beyond his legal practice, Jimmy is passionate about giving back to his community. He has been actively involved in organizations such as Arnette House, YMCA, and Interfaith, serving in leadership roles including board president. His dedication extends to youth sports, where he coaches girls’ volleyball for Ocala Power United Volleyball Club and serves as the Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Volleyball Team at Forest High School.
When he’s not advocating for clients or serving the community, Jimmy enjoys spending quality time with his family, running, and embracing the “salt life” along Florida’s beautiful coastline. His commitment to family, faith, and community embodies the values that define our firm.
